6' Water Slide
Joke Of The Week
There was once a young man who, in his
youth, professed his desire to become a
great writer.
When asked to define great, he said, "I
want to write stuff that the whole world
will read, stuff that people will react
to on a truly emotional level, stuff
that will make them scream, cry, howl in
pain and anger!"
He now works for Microsoft writing error
messages.

Did You Know...
...that the concept of Father's
Day was first proposed in 1909
by Washingtonian native Mrs.
John B. Dodd? Her inspiration
for the holiday was to honor her
own father, William Smart, a
Civil War veteran and single
dad, widowed when his wife died
in childbirth with their sixth
child.
...that Mrs. Dodd's vision did
not become reality until 63
years later? In 1966, President
Lyndon Johnson signed a
presidential proclamation
declaring the 3rd Sunday of June
as Father's Day.
