Mediator Bo Nobel to discuss options Nov. 7
A federal mediator will discuss simple option strategies that investors can use to yield more profit at the next Finance Speaker Series presentation at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
Glenn “Bo” Nobel’s presentation, titled “How to Mitigate and Manage Risk Utilizing Listed Options,” will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in room 180 of Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center, 5101 Jordan Road. The presentation is free and open to the public, and free parking will be available in the deck located behind Burke Center, off Technology Drive.
Nobel, a federal mediator appointed to the Southern District of the New York Bankruptcy Court and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, will discuss how numerous events have affected how investors now look at the market. For example, many investors are now considering adding portfolio insurance in the form of an option strategy.
Nobel’s career in the securities field began on the American Stock Exchange in 1981. Since then, the Rutgers alumnus has been a registered options trader with the Securities and Exchange Commission, an introducing broker with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and a registered investment advisor with the Pennsylvania Securities Commission.
