A hysterical Comedy by Ron Clark
Starring Larry Lewis * Mike Nasca * Carrie Smith
June 9 – 23
Harold and Burt, two longtime friends, live in a retirement home and spend their days on a bench in the garden bickering about how mundane their lives are. The two provide comedy with conversations about bodily “mis”-functions, not being as young as one pictures oneself, and how life’s excitement stems from the past rather then the future (a la “Grumpy Old Men”).
Things change when Adrienne, a once famous actress, comes to reside at the home, giving them something new to argue over. A competition begins as the men vie for Adrienne’s attention.
When they learn that the home is about to be sold and they will have to find a new residence, the three join forces to prevent this upsetting development.
“Very wise, very moving, but most of all, very funny.” – Mel Brooks
“A sunny comedy…it charms throughout.” – Stamford Advocate
An absolute funny and heartwarming comedy.
