The hilarious, award-winning “Broadway’s Next H!T Musical” is set to fill Edinboro University’s Louis C. Cole Auditorium – Memorial Hall with laughter on Thursday, March 6. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
“Broadway’s Next H!T Musical” is a two-act musical created on the spot. The first act is structured as an award ceremony celebrating songs from four “Best Musical” nominees. The contenders are culled by master improvisers from made-up song titles suggested by the audience. The audience votes for their favorite song and watches as the cast turns it, in the show’s second act, into a full-blown improvised musical complete with memorable characters and witty dialogue.
The show features improv stars Robert Z. Grant, Rebecca Vigil, Eric March, Deb Rabbai, Rob Schiffmann and Stoddard Blackall, and is co-directed by Rabbai and Schiffmann.
Tickets for the production are available now, and are free for Edinboro University students; $5 for faculty, staff and President’s Pass holders; and $10 for general admission. Tickets are available at the SGA Convenience Store in the Frank G. Pogue Student Center on the Edinboro campus, online at www.edinborotickets.com, and at the door the night of the show.
