Win Twice the Pleasure by Rachel Kramer Bussell from Cleis Press!
Win Twice the Pleasure by Rachel Kramer Bussell from Cleis Press! Sex expert Rachel Kramer Bussel brings us Twice the Pleasure, a collection of short stories guaranteed to whet your appetite for erotic short fiction. Editor of New York Magazine’s “Sex Diaries,” Rachel has compiled her best anthology yet. The stories delve not only into the bedroom, but also into the lives of those exploring their own sensuality, and provide insight into what it means to be bisexual today. To enter the contest, fill out the form at http://www.eriegaynews.com/news/article.php?recordid=201306twicethepleasure&sourceid=2 from June 11 thorough July 2.
The characters in these stories are of all different backgrounds and sexual identities, from the hesitant Laura and the confident Parisian assistant in Nicole Wolf’s “1 Percent Adaptable,” to the rough, aggressive exploits of two online daters in Aimee Pearl’s “Meeting at the Hole in the Wall.”Tension drips from every sentence leading to climactic finales, and realistic characters draw you in with witty, decisive dialogue. The stories in TWICE THE PLEASURE pack a punch and will leave your quench quelled for an arousing read while addressing the state of bisexuality across any gender!
“I wanted this book, while fictional and focused on the erotic aspects of bisexual women’s lives, to explore as wide a swatch of “bisexual” as possible. That means that some of the best stories here don’t mention the word bisexual at all; they don’t have to, because their bi angle, their queerness, is embedded—and bedded—in the story. The characters are living it, rather than identifying with it; the sexual exploration and attraction, the experience and movement, are more important than what anyone wants to call it.”
—from the Introduction by Rachel Kramer Bussel
Rachel Kramer Bussel edits the “Sex Diaries” for New York Magazine and hosts SRO readings around the country. Based in New York City, she is a prolific erotica editor, and her titles include Spanked, He’s on Top, She’s on Top, Passion, and Do Not Disturb.
