An Evening of Jerome Kern Promises to Be a Captivating Concert Event!

The Sunday, April 23 performance of An Evening of Jerome Kern has been canceled. There will be one performance only on Saturday, April 22 at 7:30 pm.

The Erie Playhouse presents An Evening of Jerome Kern for two performances only April 22 & 23 at the Playhouse.

Be transported in an instant to another time — another era — in this spectacular concert event under the direction of Richard Davis. Among the more than 700 songs by Kern, patrons will thrill to such classics as “Bill,” “A Fine Romance,” “The Last Time I Saw Paris,” “Long Ago (and Far Away),” “Look for the Silver Lining,” “Lovely to Look At,” “Ol’ Man River,” “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes,” “The Song Is You,” “They Didn’t Believe Me,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “You Are Love,” “Can I Forget You,” “All the Things You Are” and more.

This not-to be-missed concert event replaces the previously announced Showboat in Concert and features, along with many musical numbers from Showboat, the Erie Playhouse orchestra under the direction of Andrew Rainbow and some of our finest vocalists.

Soloists include Kate Amatuzzo, Ellise Chase, Nicole & Jarod Lossie, Rachel Freenock, Krista Lamb Kezia Mathew, Christine Daugherty, Mathew Anderson and Stacy McClure to name a few. The 60+ members of the chorus and orchestra include the best of the best at the Erie Playhouse.
