Practicing physician and emerging hip hop artist, Lazarus has teamed up with Airades Public Relations, a Memphis-based public relations firm to provide a different outlook on Hip Hop with his Detroit fused aficionado.

With so many different artists in the game, what stands out about Pakistani-American rapper Kamran Rashid Khan, also known as Lazarus is he’s currently a practicing medical doctor employed with United Health Group, one of the biggest healthcare systems in the United States according to Fortune Magazine.

Lazarus brings the realization of his lyrics in speaking about immigration to the United States, living up to his parents’ expectations, being socially accepted in his own surroundings, and current world issues. Becoming the “Doctor” of hip hop has garnered great reception from the likes of hip hop royalty Russell Simmons, who Lazarus had the pleasure of performing at Simmons’ private function with an overwhelming standing ovation from Simmons himself. Hip Hop has the ability to act as a negotiator to the human experience. Hip Hop is a platform everyone can use to make a difference in today’s society and Lazarus is doing this in more ways than one.
