Four weeks of fun and informative garden design workshops will be held at the Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier (LEAF)’s Education Center, 1501 W 6th St. Each workshop will feature a presentation by a local expert. Featured topics include: Garden Design Basics with Dan Dahlkemper (February 15), Raised Beds & Container Gardens with Ruth Benner (February 22), Native & Invasive Plant Species with Jen Salem (March 1), and Growing an Organic Kitchen Garden with Lisa Baumgardner (March 8).

The workshops are designed to help both novices and seasoned gardeners take their gardens to the next level. Over the four weeks, participants will learn how to develop and improve their residential landscape areas, grow their own vegetables and flowers even with limited space, understand the amazing benefits of native plants, and create a small-scale kitchen garden using organic techniques.
