General McLane is bringing youth speaker and bullying expert Jeff Veley to speak to all General McLane
students, as well as parents, on empowering children and improving campus culture. Through Veley’s fun and
engaging presentations, he will focus on inspiring students to be resilient and teaching them how to leverage
their adversities for psychological growth.
WHEN: Tuesday, February 26, 2018 | 45- minute sessions from 8:15 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Veley will speak to students throughout the day. General McLane will also host two presentations for parents.
(Parent sessions may be closer to an hour)

8:15 a.m. – James W. Parker MS students, grades 5-6 – James W. Parker Middle School Auxiliary Gym
9:15 a.m. – James W. Parker MS students, grades 7-8 – James W. Parker Middle School Auxiliary Gym
10:15 a.m. – General McLane High School students – General McLane High School Gym
1:10 p.m. – McKean Elementary students – McKean Elementary School Gym
2:15 p.m. – Edinboro Elementary students – Edinboro Elementary School Gym
11:30 a.m. – Parent Presentation – James W. Parker Middle School Auxiliary Gym
6:30 pm. – Parent Presentation – General McLane High School Auditorium
*Middle School morning presentation, as well as the evening parent presentation, may be best for photo
opportunities / film. I can work with you if there are students who are not to be photographed/filmed.
