Grasshopper West Relocates

By Kimberly Eddy

Erie’s finest funky fresh clothing store has relocated their West Side outlet, from 3330 West 26th St., to a brand new space at 2818 West Lake Road. This weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 8:00pm both days, Grasshopper West will be holding the Grand Re-Opening.

Since 1993, Grasshopper has been the one stop shop for the coolest and the best in everything from t-shirts, tapestries, and headbands, to locally made beach glass jewelry and of course, their amazing selection of tie-dyes and incense.

Owned and operated by Diane Nieratko, Grasshopper has earned their outstanding reputation by offering the Erie community the widest selection of the highest quality merchandise of any Boutique in town.

This weekend’s event will feature giveaways, refreshments, live music by Dom DeCecco and Friends, along with the opportunity to sign up to win a $200 shopping spree, along with an all new selection of clothes and goods.

Grasshopper West is certainly kicking the new spot off right with Dom DeCecco of Shotgun Jubilee along with his group of super talented musicians.

Fronting Erie’s favorite jam based, progressive Bluegrass band, DeCecco always delivers high throttle energy and a super groovy feel with both his talented instrumental work and his hard-hitting vocals.

Located right between Joe Root’s Grill and The Clarion Bel-Aire, Grasshopper West is throwing the most exciting Grand Opening weekend event that is surely not to be missed, and one that will certainly be remembered for years to come.

Please take advantage of this unique opportunity to be a part of history in the making, and an event that is sure to be a one of a kind experience.
