‘International Experiences’ Documentary To Premiere At Edinboro’s Diebold Center
The premiere screening of Edinboro University alumnus Rob Connick’s documentary “International ExpERIEnces” will be held at the Diebold Center for the Performing Arts on the Edinboro campus on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m.
“International ExpERIEnces” introduces viewers to three international families from Malaysia, Bhutan and Kyrgyzstan and addresses the factors that brought them to Erie and the reasons they chose to stay. The film was funded by a grant from the Perry 200 Committee and completed with assistance from Erie Cable Access Television, the International Institute of Erie, the Multicultural Community Resource Center and Laugh/Riot Performing Arts Company.
Following the screening of the 85-minute film, there will be a question-and-answer session with Connick.
The screening is free and open to the public. Copies of the film will be available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis.
