Princesses, Hedgehogs, and Giants “Oh My!”

In collaboration with the Kappa Beta cast of Alpha Psi Omega, the honorary theatre fraternity at Gannon University, the Erie Playhouse is hosting Once Upon a Forest – a stage adaptation of The Grimm Brother’s fairytale.

Once Upon a Forest, adapted by Moniek Merkx & Elissa Adams, is an intricately woven conglomerate of many classic childhood fairytales such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Hans the Hedgehog, The Princess and the Golden Ball, and The Giants and the Tailor.

Journey into the forest with Snow White and her seven dwarves, Hans, and a good-hearted brother who face adversity in the form of stepmothers, witches, and dragons! In the end they teach us that teamwork and friendship are powerful enough to defeat any foe!

Directed by Alpha Psi Omega members and Erie Playhouse veterans Allison Kessler (Gypsy) and Natalie Pertz (Sound of Music) this family friendly show is sure to be a fairly-tale treat for all ages!
