Follow the sounds of the whistles, banjos, and bass to Cambridge Springs for the 2016 Riverside Music Festival this weekend. The event starts today Friday, April 15 at 6:00p.m. and running through Sunday, April 17.
Organized by Justin Moyar, this year’s edition of the annual Riverside Music Festival will be one that is free to all attendees and will feature the music of many of our areas best performers including local and regional favorites including Lower Eastside Connection, Six Year Stretch, the Remnants, Special Guest, Chasing Moira, Brooke Surgener, Sonny’s Fugitives, Scarlet Ledbetter, Jess Royer, Heather Devore, Charity Nuse and the Drive, Tiger Maple String Band, Abadon Faluz, Justin Moyar, Jim Donovan and the Sun King Warriors, Tyler Smilo, and Ron Yarosz and the Vehicle, along with many more.
In addition to the plethora of the amazing local talent that will take the Riverside stage, the newly founded “Eerie Records stage” that will be located just around the corner at the Villa Inn, will have Metal giants such as the Cuts, Joe Nameless, Anthems of Apathy, My Wave Trails, Secret Weapon, The Bees Trees, and Agrohippi to mention only a few who will be performing throughout the weekend.
Attendees of this year’s event can also check out the many workshops that will be onsite in-between performances throughout the weekend, as well as visit the event’s all-local sponsors including the Bearded Woodsman’s Beezlebub’s Salsa, Beard Oil & Balms, and many more.
If all that music isn’t enough to make you want to head down to the Riverside this weekend, there will be a bounty of other amazing things such as local area craft-brewers showing off their brews and wares as artisans, the gorgeous landscape that is the backdrop of the Riverside, along with much more.
With an insane number of 87 heavy hitting, superstar quality bands and musical artists set to hit the Cambridge Springs stages like a cyclone, the 2016 Riverside Music Festival guarantees a full-blown, all out, blow the roof off bash that will with no doubt whip the entire area into a frenzy like never before.
If you love music, if you want to take a break from the Cityscape and exchange it for the country scenery for a few hours, or if you want to just party like mad with the biggest collection of hard-driving, hard-hitting music in the area, don’t miss the 2016 Riverside Music Festival this weekend.
The 2016 Riverside Music Festival runs Friday at 6 p.m. through Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at The Riverside Inn in Cambridge Springs, One Fountain Ave., Cambridge Springs. The event is all ages. The Villa is located at 236 S. Main St., Cambridge Springs, and will host the Eerie Records stage on Friday, 5:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. and Saturday, 2 p.m.-1:30 a.m. No admission is required to either site; $5 buttons to support the fest will be available.
