This Friday December 20th at 7pm, Jake’s Blues fires up the Funk and blasts out the Blues like no other, 
blowing the roof off Docksider once again.
Every weekend starting at 10pm, Docksider has the hottest DJ’s in town bringing the noise, with the most slamm’n parties in town.
Located at 1015 State Street, and with an outstanding choice of twenty beers on tap, three full service bars, and a pounding sound system to rival any in town, the smoothest bartenders around, and a fresh and high throttle energy, Docksider stands tall as the leader of the pack in good times, the hottest party spot and the coolest bar on State Street.
This Friday Jake’s Blues is going to lay down the smoothest grooves and take you to the breaking point with the most high-energy, Rock N’ Blues around.
As a group of many of the best, most talented, high-energy musicians in the City, Jake’s Blues is made up of Ron Sutton on Drums, and Ralph Reitinger on Bass.
Taking lead in this band on Guitar and Vocals is Erie’s own music legend, the one and only, Jake Banta. As perhaps, the most charismatic of local entertainers, and the most gifted and flamboyant Guitar Players to ever hit an Erie stage, Banta delivers 1,000 percent every show and is always super high-energy, Banta always comes to party.
Burning down the house with covers of songs like “We Want the Funk” by Parliament, “Miss You” by The Rolling Stones, “Gimme Back My Wig” by Stevie Ray Vaughan, “Fire” by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, “Mustang Sally” by the late, great Wilson Pickett, and many other blazing hot covers, Jake’s Blues certainly gets the crowd feelin’ alright, and gets the house a Rockin’.
Jake’s Blues doesn’t stop with the most bitchin covers of the superstars of music, the band cranks out wicked originals like We Came to Party, Thunderbird, Blues Ryder, Castle Walls, Down in the Gut, and Livin’ at the Crossroads along with countless others.
With that same style, talent, and stage presence as many of the great ones such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bo Diddley, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, ZZ Top, and Little Richard, Jake’s Blues bangs out a can’t miss show every time, and the most balls to the walls, party in a box good time of any band around.
