This Friday, February 22nd Docksider Tavern kicks off your Friday night freak with Erie’s funky blues band, Ron Yarosz and the Vehicle at 7pm. This show is with out doubt the best way to jump-start the weekend and pour on the party with hard driving blues, brutal drinks and a wicked vibe all night.
For thirty years now, the Docksider Tavern has been State Street’s ambassador of good times and a standard for the best in entertainment in the City.
Every weekend starting at 10pm, Docksider has the hottest DJ’s in town bringing the noise and kick’n it correctly, with the most slamm’n parties in town.
With an outstanding choice of twenty beers on tap, three full service bars, and a pounding sound system to rock any in town, the smoothest bartenders around, and a fresh and high throttle energy feel, Docksider stands tall as the leader of the pack in good times, hottest party spot and the coolest bar on State Street.
This Friday Ron Yarosz and the Vehicle are going to lay down the smoothest grooves and take you to the breaking point with the most high-energy blues machine around.
Ron Yarosz and the Vehicle is made up of members that include one of the most gifted Bassists Ralph Reitinger, on Drums is the devastating Ron Sutton, and on Lead Guitar is one of the most talented and versatile young Guitar players to hit an Erie stage in years, Eric Brewer, and of course the mega talented and award winning legend of local music, Ron Yarosz on Harmonica, Lead Vocalist and B3 Organ master.
The Vehicle covers a wide variety of Straight ahead blues to sometimes-psychedelic Improvisational jams featuring Eric Brewer’s gifted finger picking talent. The Band cranks out killer covers of modern versions of blues standards, always putting their own spin on the song.
Among the blazing covers you may hear Friday will be Cissy Strut, She’s Dangerous, Funky Bitch, and of course what is probably the best cover of (Got My) Mojo Workin’ that I have ever heard along with many of the most exciting and well crafted originals of any band in town.
Pumping out pure energy from the stage is the Nos that fuels the Vehicle’s engine as the party slams into overdrive from the first note, cruising at the speed of light all night the second Ron Yarosz and the Vehicle take the stage.
