Support Public Art on Erie Gives Day
Invigorate! Create! Transform! With an Erie Gives donation to ArtsErie, you can help grow public art and make these things happen. All donations made to ArtsErie on Erie Gives Day, August 13th will be designated for public art projects in Erie County. Data strongly indicates that cities with an active and dynamic cultural scene are more attractive to individuals and businesses. Amanda Brown Sissem, Executive Director of ArtsErie believes in the power of public art and how it can transform a neighborhood and a community. “Public Art brings equity and vibrancy to a community. It helps to show our aspirations, our identity and values as a community, particularly when it is a collaborative effort and accessible to the public every day. There’s great power in that.”
