When you think of Pop Rock, you think of music that mixes a catchy slick style and light lyrics with an upbeat variety of rock music that gets everyone in the groove.

Not to disappoint anyone who is into that Pop Rock sound, and always surpassing what you might expect, this week’s featured band, The Romantic Era puts the Pop in the Rock.

Formed in 2010, this 7-piece sensation blends an alternative, Pop-Rock sound with a Hip-Hop and an Electronica edge that has catapulted them to the top of the local music scene and earned them national acclaim.

The Romantic Era’s music has a very distinctive sound with supercharged lyrics that is presented with an exciting high throttle stage show that not only captivates their audiences, but also forces everyone onto the dance floor.

With pure passion, unmatched energy, and a craziness that the band brings to every show, The Romantic Era rocks any stage they perform on, while their always capacity crowds dance, party, and groove.

These Alternative power Pop Rock sensations are made up of members Paris Williams on Back Up Vocals, Ben Griffith on Drums, Dave Pfister and Alan Dingfelder on Guitar, Bryant Kimball on Bass, Colin Kimball on Keyboard, along with Connor Kimball on lead Vocals.

With mp3s available on iTunes, Amazon, Pandora, Google Play, and Spotify, The Romantic Era’s first album entitle “Romantic Era” sold thousands of copies and won multiple awards including “Song of the Year” for their single titled “Rocket”.  Their second release entitled “Even If Your Voice Shakes” already has taken the city by storm and is certain to surpass the success of their first Album.

The Romantic Era has shared the stage with Platinum selling Artists We The Kings, Grammy award winner Bone Thugs N Harmony, Jason Derulo and two-time Grammy Nominees and Platinum selling Artists, The Plain White T’s, along with many others.

Ben Griffith’s chops are always in time with powerful rhythms that dazzle, and a style that sets him apart from other drummers as the leader of the pack, while the Base beats of Bryant Kimball show off his true and captivating talent and abilities as a Bassist.

The finger work of Colin Kimball is just outstanding and perhaps some of the best Keyboard work you will ever hear pouring off an Erie stage, demonstrating Kimball’s flair for the Keys and genius as a musician.

Paris Williams vocals are without doubt nothing short of stellar, while Connor Kimball presents himself as one of the most electrifying and charismatic Front men in Erie today, delivering each line of every song with devastating talent and superstar confidence.

With astounding energy, matchless talent, emotionally charged original lyrics, and an overall sound that is as original as their lyrics and as influential as the founders of Pop Rock who came before them, The Romantic Era has already reached monumental musical heights, and is sure to be propelled into national stardom.
