Gallery Walk 2019

This evening Friday March 1, come ou,t and discover Gallery Night, organized by the Erie Art Museum, the event will feature 13 local venues. Each gallery offers its own exhibitions, entertainment, and refreshments. The event will run 7-10 p.m.

This month’s participating galleries are the Erie Art Museum, Artlore Studio, Bayfront Gallery, Beachcomber Gallery, Black Eagle Goods, Brew Ha Ha at the Colony, CIVITAS Erie, Community Gallery: First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, Erie ClaySpace Studio, 319W2 Project Space – eyewash projects, Glass Growers Gallery, PACA, Presque Isle Artists Association, Pointe Foure, and Mercyhurst University Cummings Gallery. 

Erie Art Museum
20 East 5th Street

There’s always something going on at the EAM!  We’ll have live music by Jeremy Jaeger of The Division Street Machine plus $2 beers. Bar opens at 7p.m.

The Special Gallery Night at the Erie Art Museum will include a glass bead demo by Barbara Yerace from 7-9 p.m., artist talk by Mark Perrott at 7:30 p.m., and $5 Romolo’s Chocolate art pairing tour at 8:15 p.m.

Art for Well-being Everywhere (AWE)
915 State Street

The Feminie Spirit is alive at Palace Center with featured local artists Anne Cameron Cutri, Holly Nowak, Elizabeth Kelly, Jane Davis and others. These powerful women bring together a mix of oil, watercolor and acrylic painting, weaving, beach glass and driftwood. Plus, you can tour the AWE studio and enjoy Maia Chisholm on the harp.

Ember+Forge

Just around the corner from EAM, visit Ember+Forge. Featuring prints and paintings by Marco Sanchez, “Mischievously Clever or Self-Willed Persons” explores issues with identity, Mexican folklore and the political climate in the U.S. Artist meet+greet, treat specials, and vinyl tunes spun by Steve Maynard.

Curated by Artlore Studio, Exploring Watercolors features several local watercolorists. We’ve got live music by Eric Brewer plus wine and refreshments to celebrate our 1st year at the new office.

We’re celebrating our 7-year anniversary! Stop by to see work made by talented local artists. Works include oil, watercolor, acrylic, glass and even wearable art! Light refreshments served.

Artist Susie Hosterman presents Healing the Dreary Erie Blues an exhibition featuring her watercolors, acrylics and oils. Live music by Ethan F. Howell plus signature cocktails with house-made coffee liquors, local wine and beer.

Patricia S. Yahn Student Art Show Juror, Greg Zbach, goes Beyond Boundaries with his exhibit of Digital Media. Penn State Behrend is excited to show Greg’s work as a lead up to the Patricia S. Yahn Student Art Show reception scheduled for March 12th. The gallery will close at 8 p.m. so be sure to make it one of your first stops. Enjoy cookies and other light refreshments.

Home to several local artists and the Erie Art Gallery, the architecture of the Erie Masonic Temple is a work of art in itself. Don’t miss an opportunity to tour the 109-year-old building.
