Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Returns To The Baldwin Reynolds House
Academy Theatre Presents “A Plot of Murder”
The Academy Theatre presents the Spotlight Production of A Plot of Murder October 18 and 19 at 6:30pm and October 20 at 2:00pm. This murder mystery dinner theater takes place at the Baldwin Reynolds House at 639 Terrace Street in Meadville. Tickets include dinner and the show for $40 and can be purchased at www.theacademytheatre.org or by calling 814-337-8000.
A Neighborhood Association meeting is the scene of chaos. Lou Braunhorst, friendly neighbor and conspiracy theorist, has information that the quiet streets will soon be re-zoned for commercial development. He also believes that Black Helicopters are transmitting signals through his satellite dish that put a “liberal spin” on his T.V. programs.
But some of Lou’s concerns do have validity. Councilman Ratcliff, who knows more about the neighborhood “take-over” than he wishes to reveal, can’t stay around because he is participating as an Elvis Impersonator at Elvis-O-Rama and must leave.
Before Elvis can “leave the building,” someone ends up dead. See if you can figure out who the murderer is before Secret Agent McManshon can!
Directing this production is Tom Hall. His excitement is in “making the audience part of the Home Owners Association and therefore part of the show, it is going to add to their enjoyment. And if you can correctly identify the culprit, you may win a prize!”
