She has won a Rome Prize Fellowship, a Guggenheim Fellowship and, most recently, a Bogliasco Fellowship, among other honors. She is now at work on the translation of several poets from Spanish, French and Italian. For many years a freelance translator for the United Nations in New York and Switzerland, she has also recently taught poetry at Princeton.
