The Young People’s Chorus of Erie will hold its fifth annual Summer Choir Camp on Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9.
This day camp is open to all youth ages 7 to 13 who have a passion for singing. Activities will include fun, fast-paced choral rehearsals and age-appropriate music theory classes and music-related guest presentations on instrumental music, movement, drama and the visual arts.
The camp meets from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul, 134 W. 7th St.
The cost is $150, or $130 for current Young People’s Chorus of Erie choristers. There is a sibling discount of $15 for each camper, and financial assistance may be available. The camp fee covers music instruction, activities, snacks, supplies and a camp T-shirt.
